Wiz & Curren$y Give Us “2009”

Wiz Khalifa and Curren$y finally give us the long awaited “2009” EP. A full collab by the 2 artists, who’ve been teasing at the project since back in 2015. . In a 2015 interview with MTV Wiz told author Adam Fleischer “We’re still putting the ideas together and just making it a full project,” Wiz told MTV News at Live Nation’s National Concert Day on Tuesday, referencing their upcoming #2009 EP. “Because we’re such friends and we’re such stoners, we kind of just wanna give it out. But, then, you know, we are in the music business, so, we’re figuring out the best way to package it and put it together.”
Now fast fwd 4 years later, they figured it out.

The project contains 14 tracks with features by Ty Dolla Sign and Problem, as well as production by Harry Fraud, DJ Fresh, and Cardo.  This EP follows Wiz Khalifa and Currensy’s How Fly (2009) and their 2013 Live in ConcertEP.

The supporting tour for the EP starts off in Seattle andn they’ll make stops in Portland, Chicago, Detroit, and New Orleans, with the final stop taking place March 4 in San Antonio.
